OOAK Custom Figures (UPDATED)

OOAK Summer Updates:</u>

Just quick update on my plans for OOAKs. Aside from finishing the Series 2 PotC figures and a working on a series of commissioned dolls, I will also be working on my first doll to be sold.





Several people have inquired about custom or commissioned dolls recently so I thought I'd answer questions in a journal.

What type of dolls are you selling?

Currently I'm in the planning stages of selling my own OOAK (One Of A Kind) custom dolls using fashion dolls like Mattel. Initially, the dolls will mostly likely be mermaid themed and branch out from there.

        

Are the dolls in your gallery for sale?
None of the dolls featured in my galleries are for sale. They all reside in private collections. Thanks for your interest though.

        

I love Captain Jack! Will you make me one?
As much fun as I have doing Pirates of the Caribbean and other Disney dolls, I will not be selling any "Fan" dolls. I know many custom doll artists do and are selling theirs for a nice sum. I won't do this because I am not liscenced by Disney, Pixar, or any other studio to do so.

         

I'm interested in a commission. What do you charge? How long will it take?
At this time I am not doing commissioned dolls. The only exception here are collaborations with other artists here on dA.

If you have a suggestion of a doll you'd like see me do, please leave me a comment or note. I love to hear the ideas of others. However, I cannot promise that I will do a doll according to asuggestion or that you will be the one it is sold to.

       

I've seen a commissioned doll in your gallery, what gives?
I love to collaborate with other artists. Other artists offer me a challenge and fresh ideas and ways of looking at things. I've worked with and am continuing to work with

If are an artist and you have a favorite character you'd like to see in doll form send me a comment or note. Again I cannot make any promises. A full-time job limits my time even though I'd love nothing better than to sit around all day working on dolls for every one who wants one. Basically, it boils down to lack of time that rules out opening up commissions.

        

When you do start selling dolls, how do I pay?
PayPal will be it.
