This piece took significantly longer than it should have due to real-life. For the For the first time ever working almost exclusively in paper, I'm happy with the final outcome. Made with Wausau cardstock 65lb. Structural support for Mary and umbrella: toothpicks. Story book pages: sketchpaper, watercolor, watercolor pencils. Book text: excerpt from chapter 4: The Interview from Walt Disney's authorized edition novelization of the "Mary Poppins" motion picture. Original novel by P.L. Travers.
